šŸ§… PICKLED ONIONS THAT SLAP šŸ§…

The Pickled Onions recipe youā€™ve been waiting for! šŸ¤¤šŸ§…

WhenĀ @aroundthehornbarbecueĀ and I sat down to plan this weeks recipe for ā€œThe Meatingā€, we knew three things to be absolute FACT:

1ļøāƒ£ Weā€™re making Tri-Tip Tacos.
2ļøāƒ£ Weā€™re smoking it then searing the shit out of it over some open coals.
3ļøāƒ£ Weā€™re going to bathe in homemade pickled onions.

Jensonā€™s made them before and promised me that heā€™d make umā€™ slap.

Jenson didnā€™t play. He brought it. These things were absolutely banging and a MAJOR KEY to how these tacos turned out. The Paint Lick Panther akaĀ @brandonlilly3Ā had a few finger fulls and confirmed they were his ā€œtruest addictionā€. We believe him.

HOMEMADE PICKLED ONIONS THAT SLAP

Ingredients: (All Approximates. Youā€™re the boss.)
ā€¢ 1 red onion
ā€¢ 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
ā€¢ 2 teaspoons of salt (sub for Fire Forged Sea Salt for some salty heat!)
ā€¢ 2 teaspoons of sugar (or honey)
ā€¢ 2 cloves of garlic

Thinly slice the red onion and place into a container (mason jar). Put vinegar, salt, sugar, and garlic into a small pot on high heat. Once it boils, pour it over the onions and seal the container. Let it come to room temperature then put in the fridge. Theyā€™re good for a few weeks!

Quit playing games. Rip up some onions and make some tacos. šŸ”„šŸ§…šŸŒ® then, thankĀ @aroundthehornbarbecue
