"EMPRESS" Vanilla Sinnamon Maple Bacon Popcorn

  • Heat a heavy pot with a lid over medium high heat and cook bacon
  • Remove the bacon from the pot and set aside
  • Add maple syrup to the pot and stir
  • Once the mixture has started to bubble, throw a test kernel in.
  • Once the test kernel pops, add the rest of the popcorn kernels and stir to coat them for about 1 minute and then put the top on the pot.
  • Kernels should start to pop in the next minute.
  • Shake often to prevent burning
  • Let the Kernels pop until you hear it slowdown, typically less than one pop per second
  • Chop up the bacon and toss it in the popcorn.
  • Top with Empress Vanilla Sinnamon Flake Salt and enjoy!
