Junior-Level Marketing Specialist - DTC/E-commerce

Tacticalories Seasoning Co. is a brand built for those who take their Backyard BBQ seriously. We specialize in small-batch, high-demand seasonings and sauces that deliver big, bold flavors. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for aJunior-Level Marketing Specialist to help build our brand, drive engagement, and grow our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and e-commerce presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes digital marketing, understands our audience, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in the world of content, social media, and e-commerce.
TheJunior Marketing Specialist – DTC/E-commerce will support Tacticalories' marketing efforts across digital channels. You’ll work closely with leadership to execute campaigns, grow our social presence, and support our product drops and restocks. If you’re passionate about BBQ, marketing, and making an impact, this is your shot to get in with a brand that’s all about real results.
Content Creation & Social Media Management: Help create, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok to drive engagement and grow our community.
Email & SMS Marketing: Assist in building and optimizing email/SMS campaigns to boost sales and customer retention.
Campaign Support: Work with the team to execute product launches, restocks, and promotional campaigns, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
E-Commerce Optimization: Assist in managing our Shopify store, updating product listings, and tracking performance metrics.
Community Engagement: Monitor and engage with Tacticalories fans across all platforms, responding to comments, messages, and DMs.
Event & Brand Activations: Support Tacticalories at events, helping with setup, content creation, and customer interactions.
Market Research & Reporting: Track trends, analyze campaign performance, and provide insights to improve future marketing efforts.
1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in DTC, e-commerce, or a related field.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and digital marketing tools (or a willingness to learn quickly).
Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Passion for BBQ, fitness, or tactical/outdoor culture. Someone who truly "gets" our audience.
Basic design skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar) and a good eye for brand aesthetics.
Strong copywriting skills for social media, emails, and product descriptions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a small but dedicated team.
