Man Up. Wake Up.

Man Up. Wake Up.

I'm not a morning person. I hate waking from a nice comfy bed and getting rolling with my day but as a father of 2 year old twins, I have no option. When that buzzer goes off, it's time to go - nothing else matters.

For the longest time I was in the habit of mashing the snooze button multiple times in hopes of that last 5 minutes changing my fresh-out-of-coma feeling. This was literally never the case. Quite the contrary in fact. Just because you're able to sleep in doesn't mean you should.

Now,"sleeping in" (even just 5 minutes) is completely out of my vocabulary and what a difference it has made. 5.. 10... 15 minutes is extremely valuable to a working father, and I'm sure as hell not going to waste it on a snooze button.

How do you get past the snooze button reliance?Man up. Wake up. You owe it to yourself and your family. It's only a cast for the effects of the poor choices you made the night before. Take control and make better decisions because how you rest will most certainly have implications on your progression -positive or negative is up to you.

When that buzzer goes off tomorrow morning, I want you to think about all the awesome shit you can do in 10 minutes because the options are plenty. And, man up... wake up and do something awesome with your day.
