Hand Cannon Honey Habanero Cornbread

Ingredients

Dry

Wet

  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 cup melted Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • ½ cup of Cheddar Cheese

Topping

  • 1 tbsp. Local Honey
  • 1 Jalapeno (Thinly Sliced)

Instructions

  • Set pellet grill or oven to 375°

  • In a large mixing bowl, Combine all Dry ingredients and mix

  • In a separate bowl, Combine all Wet ingredients and mix 

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry Ingredients and mix until you have a batter. 

  • Butter a cast iron pan or muffin tin thoroughly and pour the batter in 

  • Place thinly sliced jalapenos all around. Make it look pretty

  • Bake for 25 minutes @ 375°

  • Remove from the oven, dump out of pan onto a cookie sheet or cutting board and and glaze with honey.
