Herb Dusted Mashed Red Potatoes

Not much goes together like MEAT & POTATOES... When it was time to plan our yearly Christmas Dinner, we knew the age-old combo would rein king. So, in combination with our CARVERS PRIME rubbed braised short-ribs we're showing you how to make some absolutely bangin' mashed potatoes. EAT UP!


  • 5lbs of Red Potatoes
  • 2-3 Tablespoons of Tacticalories HERB DUST
  • 2 Sticks of Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Cup of Heavy Cream
  • Fresh-To-Death SALT & PEPPER to taste


Chop the potatoes into 1-2" small chunks. In a "big ole" pot, cover the potatoes with water, a generous amount of salt and bring to a boil. Cook until they're totally fork/knife soft or about 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat, drain the water from the pot. immediately return the potatoes to the pot or a large bowl, start to mash the potatoes. Mix in the sticks of butter, the cup of heavy cream, the HERB DUST, and a dusting of salt & pepper. Once fully mixed and plated, feel free to add salt & pepper and more HERB DUST to taste.
